Creator Media Kit Examples: What a Great One Looks Like

Section-by-section breakdowns of strong creator media kits, by creator type, with a template you can copy for your own.

When creators search for media kit examples, they are usually looking for one thing: a template they can copy without guessing. The problem with most examples online is that they show a pretty layout but hide the thinking behind it. A media kit is not a design exercise. It is a decision tool for a brand. This guide breaks down what a strong one contains, and how it shifts depending on the kind of creator you are.

If you have not yet, start with our guide on how to make a media kit for the fundamentals. This post is about seeing them applied.

The universal structure

Almost every effective media kit, regardless of niche or size, follows the same order:

  1. Who you are — one line, your niche
  2. The numbers — followers, engagement, reach, growth
  3. Who your audience is — age, gender, location
  4. Proof — best posts and past brand work
  5. How to work with you — contact and rates

What changes between creators is not the structure. It is which parts you lean on.

Example 1: The niche micro-creator

Say you are a 12,000-follower creator in a tight niche, like sustainable skincare. Your follower count is small, so you do not lead with it. You lead with engagement and audience fit.

A strong kit here emphasizes:

  • Engagement rate front and center (a 7 percent rate on 12k is far more impressive than 1 percent on 200k)
  • Audience demographics that scream "your customer" — for skincare, that might be 78 percent women aged 25 to 34
  • Two or three posts that drove real comments and saves

The pitch this kit makes: "I am small, but every follower is exactly who you are trying to reach, and they actually listen to me."

Example 2: The travel creator

A travel creator's strength is visual proof and reach across formats. Their kit leans on:

  • Total audience across platforms (Instagram plus YouTube plus maybe TikTok), because travel brands care about combined reach
  • A top-locations breakdown — a brand running a campaign in Southeast Asia wants to see your audience is there
  • Follower growth, because travel accounts often grow in visible waves that signal momentum
  • A grid of their most striking recent posts

The pitch: "Wide, engaged reach with an audience concentrated exactly where your campaign runs."

Example 3: The YouTuber

A YouTuber's numbers look different, so their kit does too. It leads on:

  • Subscribers and total views, plus average views per video (a truer measure than subscriber count)
  • Watch-time relevant proof — link a couple of videos that performed well
  • Any long-term brand integrations, since those signal you can carry a sponsor across a full video

The pitch: "Deep, sustained attention, not a fleeting scroll."

The section-by-section template

Copy this and fill it in:

  • Intro line: "[Niche] creator sharing [what you make] for [who]."
  • Core stats: Followers / Subscribers · Engagement rate · Avg reach or views · 30-day growth
  • Audience: Age split · Gender split · Top 3 locations
  • Recent work: 3 to 6 of your best posts with their performance
  • Brands: Logos or names of past partners (skip if none)
  • Contact and rates: Email or DM handle · a starting rate or "rates on request"

That is a complete kit. Everything else is decoration.

The thing every good example has in common

The best media kits share one quiet quality: the numbers are current and believable. A brand can spot a rounded-up or stale figure instantly, and it poisons the whole pitch. The strongest kits are the ones where a marketing manager can click through to your actual profile and see the numbers match.

That is hard to guarantee with a PDF you exported weeks ago. It is automatic with a live one.

Kitevo builds your media kit from your real Instagram and YouTube stats and keeps it current on its own, so every example above becomes a link you can send instead of a file you have to remember to update. The numbers come straight from the platforms, so they are always true. Create yours free and your kit assembles itself in a couple of minutes.
